Success Club Information

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Valleyview Secondary and SD #73's Aboriginal Program are pleased to announce the start of an academic support club for our Aboriginal students. The club has a primary goal to help Aboriginal students get ahead on assignments, work on homework and finish incomplete assignments.

What: Success Club (grade 8 - 12)

Where: First Nations Room

When: Monday to Thursday from 3-4pm

Who: Facilitated by Trish Rainville- First Nations Education Worker (FNEW)

  • In order to ensure success and safety for students attending, we are able to offer daily bus tickets to those who attend for the duration of the club on that day. If a student is not taking the bus, they are required to make alternate arrangements for pick up .

  • Students are strongly encouraged to attend, however it is not mandatory. Teachers and support staff will advocate for students to participate.

  • Every week there will be an attendance raffle. Prizes will vary and be AWESOME!

  • Snacks will be provided.

  • If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Trish or Roberta at the school 250-372-5231 or email Trish - trainville@sd73.bc.ca or Roberta – rregnier@sd73.bc.ca

  • Start date is November 18, 2013

Kukwstsetsemc!

Thank you for your support!
